I just finished reading the the book Be. by Jessica Zweig 📚 Be: A No-Bullsh*t Guide to Increasing Your Self Worth and Net Worth by Simply Being Yourself 🙋‍♀️ In the book she talks about branding which is great for Girl Bosses 👏👏👏 That’s what I love about being a Stylist, we are always learning more ways to have a successful business and more ways to improve our self-care and personal development 👏👏👏 Jessica says it’s important to have a brand color and hers is yellow 💛 because it reminds her of sunshine 🌞 and happiness plus bees are yellow. Today I thought I would talk about my bio mat.  That’s the mat on the floor in my yoga room which I keep covered to protect the crystals and my inquiring Bella 🐶  I treated myself to a biomat for my birthday a few years ago and use it for at least 20 minutes per day.  They are pricey so I got the half size which works fine for my needs.  With my biomat, I’m getting the benefits of a hot stone massage, Far infrared therapy,  negative ion therapy, photon light therapy and the energy of 3 crystals, crushed amethyst, jade, and tourmaline. This is my new book of the month. Be. By Jessica Zweig.  I'm one that always looks for signs and synchronicities especially after losing my son 3 years ago. My youngest son passed on February 28, 2018.  In the midst of the shock and sadness of that night, I remember looking up to the sky and noticing a full moon. That began my obsession with moon work and the meanings behind the various changes in the moon. This Saturday the full moon, also called the Snow Moon will be in Virgo, which is my horoscope sign.  The moon will be at it's brightest at 2:34 early Sunday morning on February 28, the Angelversary of the day we lost Tyler. It's the first time I've seen a full moon on February 28 in the 3 years that we lost him. I did research to find out what the full moon symbolized when Tyler passed on the full moon. I had a feeling there was some meaning to it and found out that the full moon is a time to let go. It was a sign to me that I had to let him go. Let's talk about one of my favorite subjects, Self-Care 🥰 It's the reason I created the Enchanted Sisterhood where we share inspiration and self-care tips. I'm often told that people don't want to do their nails during Covid because no one is going to see them. I have hardly seen any friends in person in over a year but I always have my nails done. No, it's not only because I'm a Stylist, but it makes me feel good to know that my nails look pretty. I've been a people connector for many years through Meetup.com, Red Hat Society and various online Facebook Groups. Another platform that I have enjoyed sharing is GirlfriendCircles. I read the book by Shasta Nelson, Friendships Don't Just Happen and Frientimacy and then discovered that she had created GirlfriendCircles.  I've recently created a new online Community for like-minded women who enjoy discussing topics such as self-care, essential oils, home remedies, crystals, moon phases, and living our best lives. When I began the Soul Sisters Community, this was also the inspiration behind that group, but it turned into a much larger community of ladies who like to share jokes and light-hearted conversation and graphics. My hopes for the Enchanted Sisterhood is to go deeper with connection and sharing and to learn from each other.  Whether it's a new self-care recipe, ritual or book, we can all learn from each other.
